Who We Are

Established in 2009, Cascade Learning is based in Worthing, West Sussex and has clients all over the South East, primarily in the professional services, hospitality, financial, public and charity sectors.

A team of engaging trainers, who are hugely knowledgeable in their respective specialties work closely with our clients to uncover their specific learning needs and design bespoke programmes to deliver them in alignment with organisational objectives.

Founder of Cascade, and Managing Director, Jules MacMillan has been working in learning & development since 2001, with a previous background in sales & marketing, she specialises in leadership & behavioural change. Passionate about making learning fun, memorable and easy to apply. She designed the LEARN Model, a methodology designed to introduce a level of accountability for learning and a way in which to measure its impact on the individual learner and the organisation.

Claire Townsend

Claire is a business psychologist who has worked in the field of learning and development for over 20 years.

She has a Degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology as well as qualifications in coaching and psychometric testing.

She has experience across a wide range of industries, focussing on developing employee, manager and leadership capability through away days, development programmes and coaching.

Claire’s background in psychology as well as her wide ranging organisational experience ensures that she is able to design and deliver programmes that meet the needs of the delegates as well as the needs of the wider organisation.

She works across a wide range of areas including government agencies, local government, commercial organisations and not for profit.

She has experience of working in the Middle East and has recently delivered a range of management, team and individual development programmes in Oman for organisations including HSBC, Oman Oil, SAP and Oman Shipping.

Scott Hunter

Scott has a passion for reading and self-development and brings experiences and theories from a wide range of disciplines into his class.

He has a highly engaging and a facilitative approach, encouraging learners to question assumptions and their thinking to develop personal insights and lightbulb moments. Scotts mantra is 'it’s about learning to think, not learning what to think.'

Scott has brought this unique approach to learners within the UK and the Middle East, delivering soft skills, leadership and HR qualifications to a wide range of students from extensive and culturally diverse backgrounds.

Scott also has been involved in organisation wide coaching programmes to develop skills for leaders at various levels within an operationally demanding environment.

Kevin Haslam

CPCAB, PGCE, Dip L&D, Academic MCIPD, MCMI

Kevin has over 25 years’ experience as a practitioner, facilitator, lecturer and counsellor working in the private, public and charity sectors in the UK and internationally within a range of organisations, (Telecoms, Aviation, Health, Logistics and Technology).

Kevin delivers a range of tailored HR, Leadership development programmes and projects in the UK and international locations, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Areas of expertise include HR, L&D, organisational behaviour, organisational design and development, employee engagement, coaching and leadership development and national and international employment law. With over 20 years teaching experience in a range of settings learners can be confident of a challenging, engaging and interactive session with Kevin.

Drawing on his own and broader experience in the field of HR/L&D, Kevin has also been Vice Chair for the CIPD’s West London branch committee for several years, an active member of the CIPD’s Steps Ahead Mentoring programme and Inspiring the Future and enjoys travelling, meditation, cycling, swimming, rugby along with a broad variety of music, and technology focused activities.

Kevin holds Certificate in Education (Diploma in Education and Training) and Professional Graduate Certificate of Education from University of Westminster, UK as well as Diploma in Human Resource Learning & Development/Human Resources Development and Diploma in Human Resource Management from BPP University, UK.

Jo Ainsley

Jo Ainsley is a fully qualified Chartered MCIPD professional with +25 years of management and training experience.

Jo uses her experience from the grass roots through to a strategic level to meet the requirements of the audience’s needs.

Her passion for people and to connect with them in order for them to benefit from the training in a practical and down to earth way is evident by her personal and enthusiastic approach.
